Sarah likes to direct stories that are female-centric & unconventional.

Sarah’s directing work has primarily centered around the stage. She looks forward to a few exciting FILM projects in the pipeline for the upcoming year.

Sarah has assistant directed alongside academy-award winner Alexander Dinelaris, Maria Mileaf and Jessi D. Hill.

Last fall, Sarah co-directed the proof of concept for Off the Ground, a short-form series currently in development with her writing & producing partner, Mari Meyer.

Sarah made her Off-Broadway debut in the 2019 season of Summer Shorts, where she directed the world-premiere production of The Bridge Play by Danielle Trzcinski.

“The second show of the Series A evening, Danielle Trczinski’s Bridge Play, makes the whole rest of the night worthwhile…under the direction of Sarah Cronk, see Series A for this play alone – it’ll stick with you for a long time.”

-Julia Polinsky, Theater Scene

“The play deftly handles serious subjects with unexpected moments of humor and grace.”
